Education and brief biography

Waly Chitwood grew up in Anne Arundel County.

He attended Germantown Elementary School, Arnold Elementary School and Severna Park High School.

He played youth sports for the Severna Park Green Hornets.

He was recently inducted into the Severna Park High School Athletic Hall of Fame.

Walt went to Wheaton College in Illinois and received a BA in Political Science.

He earned his Masters Degree in Public Administration from the University of Baltimore.
